Bold is Beautiful

I am obsessed with eyebrows. That’s a pretty strange statement, I know, but I love a good brow!! It frames your face and creates a beautiful base for your eye makeup. Now for those of us who aren’t as blessed with beautiful bold brows, it’s all good because that’s where the magic of makeup comes in and with the help of some products, we can achieve that look. I personally use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyebrow Wiz in ebony because even though I have brows, they’re very light, so I use the eyebrow whiz to just fill it in and give it a more of a bolder look. First, I use the spooly side and just comb through my brows and then trace it with the eyebrow wiz to give them more of a symmetrical look and then I go back in and fill them starting from the middle of my eyebrow towards the end, with black eye shadow. I know that sounds kind of scary to be using shadow, but I use a very light hand and I feel that with the eyeshadow, it makes the color last longer. Then I use the Benefit Gimme Brow Volumizing Gel in the color Deep because it’s lightly tinted and it just combs through my brows to make sure everything is evenly distributed and brings the whole look together. Also, I want it to look as natural as humanly possible because brows that look too harsh are definitely not cute. So you have to find a balance of making sure that it’s not overbearing on your face and just enough. Also, everyone’s features are different so it all depends on what suits you, but I have noticed a big change in my brow game ever since I started using the brow wiz and if I could recommend any product that could be life changing in your brow routine it would be the brow wiz. I’ve noticed that even if I don’t have that much makeup on as soon as my brows are on point, it changes my whole face. Below are some images that I found inspiring and I left some links in case you wanted to purchase and have a little bit of brow magic of your own.

Velvety Soft

Wow, I don’t know about you guys, but has velvet been everywhere??! Granted velvet usually comes out when the weather gets colder, but this season I’m obsessing over all the jewel tones and the different styles that velvet is coming in! There are beautiful velvet gowns, suits, bags and shoes. There are also a lot of wearable pieces for those of you who may think a velvet gown may be too much. I’ve included some of my favorite velvet pieces for this upcoming season and the beautiful thing about trends is finding the right fit for you. I’m curvy so maybe velvet pants aren’t something that I would be into, but this Frame blazer is me all the way! So find your own take on this trend and I would love to see how you guys style your velvet pieces!

Lots of love and kisses,

Sahar

OTK

For those of you living in colder climates, I’m sure you can relate to me when I say, that when winter comes, I literally want to be in a cocoon of warmth. So if I find things that are stylish, but keep me bundled up, I am all over it. So far, in New York, it hasn’t been that bad, so my cozy outfit for now is a comfy sweater and over the knee boots. My dream boots are the Stuart Weitzman highland and lowland boots. I know everyone in the fashion world has at least one pair of these coveted boots. They’re so sexy and comfortable at the same time which aren’t two words that you would normally combine together! Being that they’re my dream boots and being on a student budget, I have found these Nine West boots that give a similar vibe to the Stuart Weitzman boots and they’re on sale for under $100! The Nine West Tiberia boots in the black suede are super comfortable and plus they make your legs look super slim, so that’s always a bonus. They come in three colors, black, brown and navy. I bought them in the black and in the brown suede because I find them to be such a classic. So if any of you are looking for over the knee boots that give you comfort, but keep you stylish at the same time, check out these boots before the sale is over!

Lots of Love,

Sahar
