Anytime the seasons start to change not only do we focus on making sure our skin and beauty regimens are updated, but we also focus on updating our wardrobes (any excuse to shop, right?) I usually start off by keeping up to date with the runway trends and focusing on street style because they take the trends and make it their own. I recently came across sooooooo many pins of this one particular show on Pinterest and I became even more obsessed with this brand than I already am. This fashion icon and designer designs for Chanel and needs no introduction, but for those of you who don’t know who I am talking about, I am talking about Karl Lagerfeld and I am talking specifically about his newest collection, Chanel Spring/ Summer 2018 Resort Collection!! As soon as I saw his pieces I became enamored with them! The Grecian vibes that it exudes with the flowing fabrics, the gladiator sandals and the embellished belts are giving me a very Helen of Troy situation and I am loving it! He found a way to modernize such a classic style in a way where it became very wearable. In the summer flowing fabrics are what I aim for because of the fact that I have a more modest approach to everyday dressing, so when I saw the flowing dresses I was instantly inspired to add pieces that gave me a similar feel!
